That's what I thought too! But these are nicer than 2012 OEM wheels IMO.

The rear doesn't rub at all and yes, they do look similar to the 2012 wheels, which is visually the best oem design IMO between the 08, 09 and 10, 11 wheels. I'll probably paint the calipers in the future when I'm bored.

Do we know where these wheels are made, and what they are made out of?

It looks like the wheel company is from Japan, and I know that Japan has strict standards for wheels...so I am assuming they are quality....

I would just be leery of replacing such a high quality BBS Forged Aluminum wheel with some Chinese knock off garbage...

I have the same wheels in gunmetal. I've had them now since 2009 and they are definately very high quality wheels. They are made in Japan and flowformed so very strong...and LIGHT! I've been very happy with the WedsSports. Blue Light Chrome btw looks great on USB...Darshana S...
