Default unlock option on the key FOB.

You guys probably know this already, however I was watching a youtube video and watched how a guy unlocked and let down all the windows to include opening the sunroof by simply pressing and holding down the unlock button on the key FOB. I tried it and it works, pretty awesome! If you did not know this try it out... A good way to let all the heat out of the interior prior to getting in the vehicle. The car has to be turned off in order for this to work.

Yes, this is also a must do if you parked your car in the sun for a while because the heat is making the plastic producing toxic chemicals known to cause cancers. That being said, never get into a car and turn on AC with closed windows all the time.

I havent tried this out on the ISF, but weird thing is I tried this out on my wife's car and it didnt put the windows down??? I might have to take it back to the dealer to have them reporgram cause i know that this an option that only the dealer can setup. Thanks for the info!

My 2001 Nissan Maxima does that. No joke.

This used to work on my '07 IS350, it would open all the windows and the sunroof. Just tried it on my '12 F and I guess they took that feature out.

I read the manual and said the dealer has to do it. Anyone know how to program it without the dealer?

The dealer has to reprogram it. They use a program to do it.

I always forget to ask them to do every time I have been to the dealer

Sorry guess I was wrong regarding the windows/sunroof option... but on my own I was able to program the feature that allows all the doors to unlock as opposed to just the driver side when touching the door handle. I'm still trying to find out where this is written, I did it last year.

I suggest you go through the LPS, you'll find out way more features than just rolling the windows down.
