Y not own both later on . Not only u get the gains on header, E, intake, but u r also reduce the weight of the car. Also lighter wheels, and take out those spare tire and tools in the trunk. Just build little box of 1/4 inch of plywood for it. Good to roll . The sounds are just awesome=music to my ears

I'll add fuel to the fire Assuming someone doesn't want a manual transmission, I can't imagine a better combination than owning the ISF and GTR at the same time!

Well, this is all I can come back with, but it is over 800hp in vehicles...oh and about $2000 a month in payments! Lets not even speak of the house payment....but gotta keep the wife happy.

I've already said I'm going to buy another GTR, but want to pay one of these off first. Hopefully R36 right around the corner.

As with everything .... the sting of those expenses is proportional to income.
With that said ... my F payment + house payment stings. But it's worth it.

Oh, I don't have car payments, so I guess I wouldn't know.

I love both cars but still not sure why people compare an IS-F to a GT-R. Not even close to being in the same class in any way lol.

Great read!

Got close to pulling the trigger on the GTR over the ISF. However, the ISF was the better daily driver and my wife and I have been happy with that decision. The Michelin Pilot Super Sports made us LOVE our F!

I agree the GTR makes WAY TOO MANY NOISES at low speeds around town.

My friend and wife both commented something is broken - yes that limited slip differential is that LOUD! I had to confirm with my buddy I didn't break his car.....

The IS-F I would use words as "refined, sedate, clean, classy, comfortable, Daily Driver"

GTR the words that come to mind is "menacing, FAST, race, eye-catching, gadgets, toy, weekend driver"

Guys who DD their GTR probably has a job out in the countryside or does not commute in rush hour traffic nor real city driving in downtown. I could see driving the GTR if I didn't have to deal with traffic.

Disclaimer: I drove the GTR for a weekend in Chicago and west suburbs....boy was I glad to be back in my RX afterwards

P.S. this is no fault of the GTR as it's a race car. I would classify the NSX, Viper, and most exotics also in this category as fun weekend only cars.
