08 with 2012 suspension?
my question is that is it doable without a massive cost or overhaul to the car? wondering if anyone actually did the swap. I test drove a 2012 yesterday and I was completely impressed on how much better the car took the hits from bumps and what not. I am thinking of trading mine in for a newer one but if I don't I am seriously debating on swapping out the suspension to make it a better daily driver.

It's been looked at, there are a lot of part changes involved beyond springs and shocks. The finial consensus was it was cost prohibitive for just another stock suspension. You are better off going aftermarket.

I haven't driven the 2011+ models, but can def. say the KW V3's and the ISF are a match made in heaven. It transforms the ride/handling of the car IMO.
With the tuneability of the KW's, I would be surprised if they aren't an improvement over the 2011+ models as well.

So I'm thinking I'm going to replace the shocks on my car with what you guys recommend. I was wondering if anyone in the Sacramento area has actually done it that would be willing to let see how It changed the feel of the car.

wait so if i switch my springs/shocks will i see no improvement OR will it simply not fit. I know there are more aspects to suspension than those two parts but I was hoping for a middle ground. Since so many people go to coil overs I was hoping to get some 2011 or 2012 springs/shocks at a reasonable price 2nd hand.

New Car Features says you can't retrofit the 2012 suspension. I'm not sure why but they say something about the upper mounts being different. Without digging really deep into the collision repair manual, it would be difficult to say for sure.
