Sorry to see this happen......

This would be a great time for the OP to weigh both hoods fully stripped and compare the differences....

That's crazy it doesn't fit well. I did mine at night with no light and could barely see. I expected it to look like crap, to my surprise it fits awesome and somehow managed to get the gap between hood and fender even on both sides.

The Seibon trunk on the other hand doesn't fit well. I spent at least a couple hours trying to line that thing up. Its still off but not nearly as bad since I spent hours adjusting it.

CUMMON NOW! OK...i'll just throw it out there... You own a 60,000 car...you put on a carbon fiber hood that cost you 600 bucks (shipping doesn't count)....did you expect it to be perfect? Remember the videos of how well built the IS F is? How the engine is built in a clean room? You bought CCC and put it on your car...that's how it's gonna fit...CCC = Cheap Chinese Carbon.

IS F is almost 20k (MSRP) more than a IS350 because it's that much better...do you agree it's worth it? I think you did, and that's why you ended up with an IS F and not an IS350.

Have you seen the Porsche price list for Interior Carbon goodies?

$1200 for carbon door sills...
$1625 for carbon center console!
add everything up, and you can still get the "Additional Interior Package In Carbon" for another $4000....

Just call them and hope they'll take it back and refund you shipping. Good luck bro...hope it works out.

Joe Z, why don't you make a Carbon Hood? I'm sure people will buy it as long as the quality is legit like your PTS exhaust

^ This is consistent with everything I've heard about Seibon and why I've never bought it.

I was never happy with seibon. For me its pretty much a waste of money. The ISF looks good already. All it need is wheels it you want it to look different. I would just put that money on performance mods.

I agree with you, but.... I really dig the TRD IS-F carbon fiber hood tho lol
At the main time I think a nice CF front lip with a rear diffuser will do the tricks for me !
