Most of the members who have the JoeZ or other after market systems are pleased with them. I have not heard or seen the Borla, but it's been reported to be more tolerable than the JoeZ. However, I have not been impressed with Borla's quality in the past, maybe it's improved.

I hear ya The JoeZ was just too loud for me and had noticeable drone, so I modified my stock exhaust system here:

No BS here, the JoeZ exhaust paired with headers sounds amazing. You won't find a better sound on this car than with that combination, but as some do daily the car and would prefer a more tolerable exhaust tone without losing any power, the Borla exhaust is great alternative! Zero quality issues with it on the IS-F.
thank you sir. me and amgon75 might do the calibers soon. Same colors combo eheheh .

How much HP for headers alone or just exhast. I havent work on cars for 5 years. Thats why I was driving a Lexus IS250, but also been missing out in alll the fun. Thats why I got the ISF. I usually do all the work for my car, but I dont think ill be able to do the headers. Just the exhuast.

Thanks! So 1600 for exhuast, 1300 for headers, and 140 for intake should give me 400WHP. looks like its worth every penny. Im just not a 100% in yet on how loud its gonna be. As long as I still have my IS250 for DD I should be ok. But my fiance want me to get rid of it. She said theres no sense in having two of the same car. lol.
