Im Stuck :(
Whats up people,
I went to look at an ISF a couple days ago in Jersey. Im sure you guys remember. Today the dealer gave me a call and let me know how the math is going to work out. The car runs perfect no problems. I test drove it and it was amazing. The monthly payment is coming out to be 689/Month with my ****ty car as down which they are buying for 4500.00. My question too you guys is what would you do if you were in my situation. I can afford it but its a lot if you think about it.
Any advice would help
Thanks

Sounds like your not getting too bad of a deal but it's also not a fantastic one. OTD including your DP is ~$45,840 based on the info provided, TTL&interest included. When you subtract all the interest and tax fees it appears as though the price of the car might be around 37-39K. I would hold off and look for an F with lower mileage. GL

So many other variables that we don't know. What % of your income is that payment? Personally I feel if you cannot pay cash for a car you really cannot afford it.
When I was 20 I was driving a 15 year old car and spending all my money on College. Make sure your priorities are in the right place.

I def would have to agree with you but what UCrazyKid is probably trying to say something to the effect of don't put your eggs all in one basket. Basically saying if you can barely afford this car it's probably not a good idea to purchase it. Cars are not good investments
