Help Please!!!!
So as i said before, I'm in the market for an 08 ISF.
Today while doing some research online i came across a 2008 ISF in New Jersey. It has brand new tires, aftermarket rims, aftermarket exhaust and a K&N air filter installed. Now considering all the aftermarket accessories installed on the car, do you think the price good or can it be negotiated and if say what would you offer. Im going on saturday to test drive it and see everything in person and I'm just trying to go with my mind made up.
The link for the car is as follows so you can see.

Any opinions would be much appreciated.

I'd personally stay away from moded cars. You just nevr know what they've been through. That said, the price seems high given the misliage. I bought my 08 with 32k miles in excellent condition for less than $37k. If everything checks out, I wouldn't offer more than $36k. Hope this helps.

Wow, it must have an aftermarket transmission too...
"7 SPEED DUAL CLUTCH AUTOBOX"
hahaha...just kidding. I would try to knock a few grand off that price, but as long as the car is in great shape, it isn't that bad of a price to begin with. I didn't read the advertisement, but at a quick glance it looks like someone put some money into it, but wanted to trade it in before the bumper to bumper warranty expired.

Aftermarket parts DO NOT add to the value of a used car....and in some cases they can detract. I would price the car out low KBB and I wouldn't factor in the aftermarket parts in your negotiation. Good luck!

Thanks for the quick responses guys.
I'm going to go on saturday and see whats up. Hopefully they can get me a good deal because it looks gorgeous from the pictures but you never know.
@gymkata haha thats funny you said that because i spoke to lexus 20 minutes ago online and they told me the warranty has expired due to the miles being over 50000.

The way I'd approach this is simple:
1) Out of warranty
2) Its modded
3) The mods diminish the value of the car and are essentially worthless
They're gonna try and keep the price high b/c its all modded up. Just keep pressing the point that its not stock and you don't like the mods on it and just keep wearing them down.
Personally, I wouldn't buy a modded out car or a performance car from the pre-owned car market unless it was someone I know who babied it.

^This F has the complete opposite of what I would look for, high mileage, modded, high priced, out of warranty. With mileage approaching 60K you also need to find out if the valve inspection has been done out of precaution. Just be patient and keep looking... more F's will emerge as the summer approaches
