Default ISF Header Comparison: Sikky vs. PPE

Hey guys,

As we all know, I/H/E, can well put us over 400 whp.

Two brands of headers exist for our car, PPE and Sikky.

I see more people go with the Sikky headers (I'm more inclined on them as well).

But what are the gain differences between the two?
And reliability wise, which one has less reported problems?

Thanks guys.

From what I've read the only difference is looks. People say ppe looks better. Why it matters I don't kno. I haven't see anything about the firrerence is gains.

The gains are roughly the same. I am running sikky headers and I am happy with them. However, if you search the forum you will find complaints about quality with the sikky headers compared to the ppe. I have noticed some of the issues that have been pointed out but I have absolutely no problem with my sikky headers. I am also running the issforged des exhaust and it sounds great!

I'm liking the Sikky headers, simply because they are very common and used in the isf community.
I haven't heard if PPE proens because I don't really see any PPE headers, at least as much.

I myself am running the sikky header. However I've seen both headers in person, it's true the quality does look better on ppe, ie cleaner welds. However this is something you cannot see once on the car. I've also read the o2 sim on the sikky has less problems anyway I'm sure you'll be happy with any headers for the ISF since they both make great power. Just remember to order the two extra oem o2 sensors in case they strip on the oem headers.

I have PPE. As has been said, from the Dyno graphs I've seen, the gains appear to be similar. It is my opinion, that the workmanship on the PPE is better than Sikky, and there has been a negative thread about the Sikky header flanger design. I can find it, if anybody is interested in reading it.

I'm not knocking Sikky, they have a well designed product, but, again IMHO, the workmanship is superior on the PPE Product.

The picts below are of both products. The first is Sikky, the second PPE.

I had ppe header on my IS350, quality is superb, i havent see Sikky header in person yet, for what i read and seen videos on here, combination of ppe header and joez are quite loud, sikky header and joez are not as loud... the important question is where to get a well reputation shop to get it install

A very helpful member here, caymandive, told me of a shop in Baltimore that specializes in Sikky.
I'm leaning in towards that route, but I'm definitely going to the BBQ meet this saturday @ Edison to check out any other prospects!

Will there be an ISF section there? ^_^

Anyone in the bay area get any of the headers and installed them?

I am so close to picking up a set, but my main concern is that I do not know any shops that I can trust to touch my girl. All the local shops here I would never trust to work on my car.

Can anyone in the bay area recommended a shop that knows how and have done the install on the F.

Might want to hit up SpeedElement in Fremont since they've pretty much done everything to the F (hyperisf's ride) that they have there... and i'm sure someone else will say Sonic MS

^^^^I don't see how that could be the case But I honestly don't know. IMO, the main contributor of noise is the exhaust system. As most of you know I have PPE with Hi-Flow cats and a custom made exhaust utilizing the stock mufflers (with two inlets). I have a friend with PPE, the JoeZ and no cats. IMO, his car is loud and has a drone. When he comes to visit, if I'm outside, I can hear him coming from close to a mile away.
