You can get a 2way alarm system installed on the car. Then you can addon a digital tilt sensor. That sensor will set the alarm off when someone either tries to jack it up or tow the car. If you get the 1mile 2way system your alarm remote will warn you when the alarm goes off up to 1mile so you can do something about it. Or you could get the phone version where your sent a txt msg when the alarm is set off at any distance where you have cell service.

At least they blocked up your vehicle ( although on the rotors, which you may want to have checked). A buddy of mine had his wheels stolen from one of the busiest truck stops around, and the video showed them stealing the rims in under 2 minutes and leaving the vehicle on the ground....

Dang, that really sucks. Although I have to agree, now you can get some really nice aftermarket rims. Just make sure you do something so your new set doesn't get stolen as well.

Sad but true... I remember when I lived in a big apartment complex in college. Management knew that I always worked on cars so when they came into work that morning, they called and asked if I was working on my car already. Told them I was getting ready for work, then they said "UH OH". Went out and found my car on oem jacks about to fall over (eventually did). It just sucks that you can't own anything nice anymore with out worrying about some one stealing or vandalizing it.

Just wondering is your insurance going to only pay for OEM wheels or will they give you the money that the OEM wheels cost. If so you can get a really nice set of rims with that. I mean 7k is what factory rims will run you plus tires another 1200. This might turn out good for you.

sorry to see that... at least it was just ur wheels and not the whole car... I think ur prob the second member that has gotten their rims stolen. Another member got theirs stolen in NY. I guess the safest place to keep our car is in the garage.
