Questions on Borla Axle Back.
I just can't do a full exhaust. It's not in my price range. I'm considering the Borla Axle Back exhaust. I'm wondering the following questions.
1.) How much louder it is than stock.
2.) How much weight savings.
3.) How much HP gain.
Thanks!

If I were you I'd save up the small difference and get the full cat back.

Borlas are usually pretty deep and loud. They are not quiet systems. In fact Borla is known for that deep tone. I had a cat back system on my G35 and it would rattle the plastic on the b pillars at times.

Acutually it's kinda the opposite for the F. It seems like the full exhaust is tamer than JoeZ's and ISS Qes. People say the drone is also tamer

I have it on mine and it sounds GREAT! Minimal HP gain but for sure turns more heads than usual and sounds like a true V8.

ditto...don't buy the axle back...there is no reason to. The catback is not much more expensive and has a much greater performance gain.

Here's a video of the Borla Axle back from a few years ago...
This will let the OP hear the difference between a Full Exhaust Upgrade vs just an Axle Back..
Enjoy,

Then that video is poor quality.....you hear the engine revs over the exhaust in some cases!

Thanks everyone! I'll think I'll hold off on the Borla axle back.
