I am definitely considering going lightweight 18's in a wider profile. 285 sounds very nice, and would provide a great contact patch both front and rear.

Great link DCB! I'm looking at 5Zigen FNO-1RC's 18x9.5 +35 front/rear. They are light (roughly 18 lbs.) and cheap to replace, and I ran them on my Subaru STI and loved them.

I am doing the same but $5000 is really low to be competitive. If you just want to have fun then suspension and brakes will do since you DD. stock suspension on the isf is not great by all means.
