knowing how hot the f's engine gets im pretty sure its functional..my previous car (evo x) you would see alot of heat dissipation come out of the hood vents.
btw is this the bubbling you guys keep talking about in the headlights?

yep..mine were slightly worse and I just had them replaced under warranty,
