Default Velcro on front lip question

sorry for posting a thread on this stupid question, but I've seen several mentions of lowered cars with front lip spoilers that have velcro (otherwise known as "hook and Loop") to the bottom of the lips to try and help when rubbing ground to prevent damage.....
Which side are people using? the softer, fluffy "loop" part or the stiffer, harder "hook" part?

i would think u would use the harder or straight side and u need to mount that on the lip and its even. the fluffy part is used to reduce the impact. I am planning this myself. Bout to go to home depot, unfortunately my lip is already scrape at the bottom but its not that bad because you can't see it unless u go under.

so you stick the "Hook" part to the lip and leave the "loop" attatched to it as well? hmmm I didn't even consider having BOTH on there at the same time....

hmm can you cut it and use both. i would use the straight side which is behind the hook and loop unless you got a different one. mines is straight on the back. the hook and loop should be facing the road or down.

I'm TOTALLY confused now! LOL the "HOOK" part of the two parts of velcro is the stiff plastic little "hooks" that grab the "LOOP" of the soft fluffy part of the velcro..... what do you mean when you're talking about "straight" side?

Can someone just take a picture of what they're doing.?? A picture is sometimes worth a thousand words... LOL

I have Velcro underneath the front lip. I used the fuzzy side. It helps but not by much. So instead of making the typical scrape sound, you'll hear "shhhhhh...."
