Default '08 ISF w/27k miles for $30k? Too good to be true??

I wish I was in the Seattle area! Unfortunately for me, my lil' broher just moved away from that area last year!!

However, as the saying goes: "if it's too good to be true...."

The seller kind of sneaks in "abranded title" towards the end and right before saying it's in perfect shape. He does say it's a 10/10 though.

Would that result in that much of a discount? Even if the owner claims it to be in "10/10" condition?

The seller is about 35 miles away from me. If I'm in the area, I can try to take a look at it.

If an "F" has a salvaged title then it was in a prettyyyy bad accident.Work may have been done correctly but still, you dont want to pay that much money for something with a salvage title. When you pay that much money for something you want something reliable without issues for years to come.

Salvage title could mean it was flooded too, so it may not directly be damage to the body of the car

I remember seeing a white ISF on ebay with low miles..."looked" to be in mint condition but after reading all of the details, it also carried a salvage title and eventually sold on there for $24k. Running the vin and getting the carfax is probably the best option at this point...

You won't know until you actaully go look at the F.... drive it....and talk to the owner....
I know it's going to be hard to believe.
I bought my 2008 IS F (with 7234 miles then, Dec 17) for $30,234.34 after tag tex and fee from Lexus.
It's off lease from a really kind multi business owner!
Clean title, however it was fell sideway into a ditch, therefore history report read 'rolled over'
No structure damage, the car was professionally repainted.
It drive like brand new. I am enjoying every seconds of it.

So, have faith, and good luck!
