Yes you can, with the 2011 speedo. Press and hold the stick, which changes the display to either trip a/b. It has to be showing ODO while you press, not trip a/b as that you just reset the trip and hold and your digital speedo will change to either mph or kmh.

brilliant, works just fine. I need to also let the master tech at the dealer know so they do not waste time.

This is not documented in TIS. It's no surprise they did not know about it.

I'm trying to convert my speedo from KMPH to MPH using the above method on my 2013 ISF but no luck, nothing changes

any ideas?

Can I do this in Techstream? if so what are the steps?

i have an american imported 08 isf and it's still in MPH, there shouldn't be a problem with having it imported and my display is still the original.

^ As far as I'm aware 08 ISF have both MPH and KPH displayed in the speedo.

the new Cluster displays do not, they have a digital speed read out and a small KPH speedo physical readout, if that makes any sense.

Which is why I need to change my digital read out because currently everything is KPH

there are a lot of ODBII simple gauges you can buy and mount on the top of the steering column or the dash that can flip between KPH and MPH, the speed sensors reading comes off the ODB port so you can just get a simple gauge and use it when needed:

examples:

this is a KPH specific gauge: shows other things as well.

this one you can use either their gauge or a Bluetooth dongle and a phone app.

this one is a bit pricy, but does both mph and kph:

^ That's not something I'd be interested in, it'll be a ghetto mod if I go that route.

There should be a way to do this, I'll be seeing with the dealers in the UK to try and program in the display somehow to show the correct speed in MPH.

Even if I have to change my entire speedo I'll be doing that instead of trying to add aftermarket parts which will always be iffy.

I get that if you are permanently changing from kph to mph or vice versa, the OP was talking about travels back and forth between Canada and USA, so his is a temporary situation when he travels, easier to just have a "ghetto" mod than to have to visit the dealer every time.

Works on my USA 2012. I looked in the owner's manual and it has directions on page 152.

You can look at your manual and see if Lexus omitted this functionality for your region.
