Default Obsidian detailing

I offered my IS-F a little treat for my nearly 2 years of ownership : Full detailing

It looks like the paint had been washed with grit

This looks great! I'm really impressed with what the waxing did. What kind of wax was it? Is that a foam applicator pad you used with your polisher?

Sweet..!! My F is screaming for a FULL detail job like that... Might make this one of my Spring projects..

Also, I noticed your F has the clear 3rd brake light in your international market... Is there a way you can get us a part number for it from your local Lexus dealership ..??

This is something cool us USA owners can bring in..

Thanks

Are the tips supposed to be chrome? I've noticed mine look like brushed aluminum now (no reflection).

I have yet to perform a full paint correction on my Obsidian.....most likely this Spring.

Looks great! Detailed mine this summer (obsidian) using the turtle wax black box kit and it turned out fantastic, it really popped after using it.

I never noticed USDM had a different 3rd stop light.
******* gives me 81006-53030-C0 as the part number. My EPC is not working at the moment so I can not cross check

Nice job on the install! As Joe Z said, the clear third brake light would be something nice for the IS Fs here.

That's not right! Would you have a professional service your woman? Just kidding. Looks great.
I found this site that tells you how all this is done with great video's and they test all kinds of waxes and stuff.

Awesome ..!! Our USDM part number 81006‑30011‑C0 / USE20, BLACK and has the red lense..

Thank you for verifying the cleat center stop light.. Should be pretty easy to get from our JDM part supplier here on CL..
