Default 2010 vs 2011 IS-F

I am considering getting either a used 2010 or 2011 ISF.

Anyone know the COMPLETE list of change between these 2 years..

I know the 2011 has a bigger Tach gauge – which I dislike.

My main concern is comfort ride (I perfer my 2007 IS 350 comfortable ride without the front F-Sport Sway bar), has that improve in 2011?

the ride has been improved on 2011 and it also has the led drl. i wouldn't say its more comfortable but less jarring.

I have a 2010 and have driven a 2011. The ride in the 2011 is much more comfortable, no question.

The instrument clusters are different. Also, the 2011 comes with alcantara seats, while the 2010 has leather. All of these are a matter of personal preference and I like the 2010 better.

P.S. Both have Torsen LSDs

The newer model year will be the better car but if you don't like the new Tach then to me that's a deal-breaker. One things I've learned over the years is that if you dislike something you have to constantly stare at or listen to (like the wife ... just kidding), it'll just keep bothering you and you'll always be thinking "what if".

I'm one of those who thinks the new tach is amazing and I absolutely must have it on my ISF, I also think the 2012 wheels are so much better than the 2010 - 2011 ones. Therefore I must get the 2012 or I'm sure I will regret it. Now if I could only find any Lexus dealer with a USB 2012... none exist currently

I am going to check out a 2012 tomorrow just to see the new wheels. I just can't seem to come to terms with them and think the 2010-2011 are better. They remind me of the Gallardo wheels which I loved from the get-go.

I like the new lighting interior and the lighted buttons on the rear view mirror. how retarded to miss that on 2011.

I don;t care for the Tach as I am not stating at the tach but on the road. ha ha ha

Minor issue but...

I like the big tach but I already have enough trouble reading my speed with the older/larger speedo. Shrinking it would make it very tough to read at a glance IMO.

The small speedometer is for show the one you really look at is the digital one to the bottom right of the tach which is easy to read. I have really grown to like the new cluster.

The only thing keeping me out of a later model is the brake and throttle software change. I actually like a lot of the changes.

If Lexus insists on keep the brake throttle interlock without a track mode, this will surely be my last Lexus for the track.

I wonder if they neutered the LFA this way?

lobuxracer - I've been able to brake/gas at the drag strip for a burnout and have tried to left foot brake and gas into a turn (on the street). Is there any documentation I could read on this? Is this activated at a certain speed?

If you like the 2010-2011's better then get one, I know I would. It really is the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on a 2011 (i know it's kind of silly).

Come on man, don't tease me with these pics. I'm sitting here with a huge down payment ready to buy a new 2012 and can't find ANY USB's in the entire country and you post this pic doing 77mph on normal mode? Put that thing on Sport mode and yank that stick to M mode!!! You're F'ing killing me.

DHRP - Thanks for the pic. That actually looks way better than the older style. I love that setup!
