And, for my efforts, I now have the priviledge of donating $50 to support county operations. In retrospect, it really doesn't look that bad with the front plate installed and I only see it when I am washing it.
I know the feeling, but I will never drill baby drill into my front bumper! When I see the FFX police I always get a bit nervous about not having a front plate myself, but if/when I get busted for it I'll just pay the fine and hope I don't get caught again for several years down the road.

BTW.. Have we met?

I'm glad that Nevada is not strict on that at all. I have never had a front plate on any of my cars. No holes in my front bumper.

I don't think we've met but we've talked here on the forum. The funny thing about my ticket was that I was parked at the Herndon/Monroe park 'n' ride with the front end butted up against a stanchion. The officer must have been admiring the car and, while doing a walk-around, spotted the missing plate. (PS. The bad grammar in the topic title was intentional)
