Did anyone figure out if the F is compatible with this SPC kit?

I've been waiting to see someone try out the SPC kit on a F too. I'm a little heisitant to try it out because I'm not sure how durable it is compared to the stock parts it replaces.

I thought that was what this kit was made for. Makes no sense.

Why is that Teo?

Figs would be the person to explain it better.

on the website it says stock or modified. However it depends on the range of the SPC vs the change in angle while lowered.

Figs is definitely the man for this.

Joe, where can I find pricing on the SPC kit or a place to buy?

Looks like you can get them here in the vendor section:

Ok, I just did some research, and the IS-F and ISx50 share the same A-arm and steering knuckle. I don't know where everyone is getting this information that they are different, but here is proof.

IS-F
http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...-ISF-2009.html

ISX50
http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S350-2009.html

They are exactly the same parts for both cars. I also talked to SPC, and they said that it would work in conjunction with the A-Arm as one of their own. I had the complete SPC A-Arm assembly on my 350z and loved it.

Same with the rear suspension. The camber kits available for the ISX50 will work perfectly on the F. Here is proof. Same Parts.

IS-F

ISX50
http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S350-2009.html

I just purchased my camber kit from IAP direct using my $75 coupon that I got for the coilovers. Once I get the kit, I will be posting a review on my re-build page for everyone to see. Im also going to order the Megan rear camber kit. I will do the same with that.

Did he mention if the front kit will work with an aftermarket suspension? coils or coil-overs.

The Issue with the SPC ball joint is clearance. The top is so tight on the F my concern would be that it would be like the IS300 guys and you would get a nice nut stamp on the upper inner fender.

I will have 2 potential solutions for inner tire wear.
-Adjustable upper for CASTER angle adjustmentso that when the car steers over it does not induce such extreme angle.
-Rear LCA bushing with offset. This will allow further steering angle changes to mitigate the issues.

There will be more bump steer when lowered so the idea is to compensate for it. The tie rod ends mount on the front side meaning it will toe in under compression. So lowered cars should nominally have the toe setting at 0 to negative +.2 degrees to compensate. Tire wear is not all Camber realated unfortunately, espcially at just 2.3 degrees which is about where it ends up with a 1.5" drop

WOW! would this not be an issue they would come across in R&D? I was just about to pull the trigger on a set as they are on sale.

hmmm has anyone run these on an ISF or IS x50?

so we need the rear mega arms for the rear if we are lowered and now we need adjustable caster or rear lca bushings for the front?

I just purchased the SPC ball joints today. I will install as soon as they arrive and I will keep everyone updated. I'm running TEIN lowering springs on the front only. Stock springs in the rear.
