Default Winter meets Lexus IS-F on HRE 590RS

This IS-F located in the Chicago area were sent to us by the owner PurduePete. He put some work into this clean and simple Lexus. He managed to get this photoshoot done prefer the winter weather hits the Chicago area.

He equipped his IS-F with a set of HRE 590RS in 19"x9" front and 19"x10.5" rear. He selected Gloss Charcoal centers and Polished outers.

Nice. Just in time for piles of dirty snow and ice and salt and calcium magnesium acetate and other drivers. Is it spring yet. I hope we don't get any snow down here in N. Dallas. I can't believe it's been over 10 years since I moved from the "Lou".

Thanks Lon, the 590RS are beautiful!! It is very reassuring to know that each time I’m driving my F (street or track); I am driving on wheels known for their strength and quality while at the same time, minimizing weight.

I have always liked HRE wheels, but did not ever come close to realizing how much HRE is involved in motorsports.

Maybe not NASCAR, but I recommend all of you to start getting into the habit of zooming in on wheels of famous or not so famous racecars. You will be surprise how many sport HREs, from Lamborghinis/Ferraris to Scion tCs (Chris Rado’s). From your normal weekend time attack cars to Pikes Peak, you will notice more often than not, they sport HREs. Also, notice how these race cars either sport a small and discrete HRE sticker (rather than a humongous one) or none at all? This tells me that the owners of these race cars chose HRE wheels rather than HRE forcing themselves onto these cars as a main sponsor. Now don’t get all wound up, as this is just my opinion base upon my assumptions and sure, I might be way off, but it is hard to ignore why so many race cars sport HRE wheels. Again, this is not a debate, but just sharing my opinion as an owner of wheels made by HRE.

Those wheels look really good, I think they suit the car really well. I'd prefer to get 20's though if I was going to upgrade.

I like the kit too! Looks great! (even if the car needs a polish! )

Very clean car. Are the wheels staggered sizes?
