Does anyone know what the factory torque spec is for the (2) 17mm bolts that hold the caliper to the car?

Wow how the hell did I miss that lol.

Thanks

Just for clarification which bolts are the bridge bolts? Is it the Center bolt that holds the pad retainer into the calipers?

Yes, the bridge bolt is the one with the 13mm head bolt in it at the top of the caliper. It adds strength to the caliper in the middle, so they call it a bridge.

I just did this job today. Great write up, wish if seen it first.

FYI my rotors measured out to 27.3mm way under min spec but NO issues experienced with street driving, no cracks, etc.

Can anyone comment on the rotor torque specs? I can't for the life of me find this info on the site or in the lexus manuals.

The rotor is not bolted down. It is held in place against the hub by the wheel. No torque specs would apply.

Hmm makes sense, thanks. First time going the brakes for the F, and on any car for that matter, excited!

I'm doing this brake job sometime next week with the stoptech pads. Do I need to buy new shims or can I just reuse the old ones?

When I did mine, I reused the old shims. I cleaned them before I reused them.

Ok that was my plan as I did not think shims were something that would need replacing but I just wanted to double check and make sure.
