Yargo is a cool guy...I almost bought my car from him. Next Lexus I buy will definitely be from Roseville...I did not have a good experience last time with Lexus Of Sacramento and this story is another example. Blows my mind. If I were you, I'd contact Christian the general manager. Who were you working with their?

I just came from the dealer and they wanted to sell me an 11 for 61300. I was going to trade my 08 and they were offering me 38 for it. I thought that 38 was a little low and was thinking more like 40K. they were even trying to get me into a lease. I ended up walking away from the deal. Lets see if they contact me in the next few days.

I did like the ride and suspension better in the 11 though. It however did not have the parking sensors that my 08 has.

Does anyone have an opinion on this situation?

I'm assuming that's with tax and license? If so, I'd say it's an unbelievable price! Holy Cow!!!! I would fly up there to buy it for that price!!!! There's no way that car can be bought in SoCal at that price. And, I don't think $38K is low for an 08. I think some guy on this forum bought a private party 2010 for $43K before taxes in your state.

As for the parking sensors, that's a $500 option on the 2011.

I wanted them to come down a bit more and give me more on the trade. those two come out to be more than what I wanted to pay. (a couple thousand on both ends) For me the deal I was looking for would have been them coming down to at least 60k and giving me at least 40 on the trade. With 5k down I would have been in the sweet spot and taken the deal. I didn't want to force it and be paying well over 700$ a month.

I think asking to buy a 2011 for $60K including tax and license is quite absurd unless the tax rate up there is like 4%. What's your tax rate? I believe the invoice on a 2011 with NAV/ML and w/o parking assist is ~$59K. You are basically asking at least $3K below invoice. That's crazy...

That was without ttl. I just wanted the sale price down. I emailed them and they said to come down and they would put together an amazing offer. Well that amazing offer was msrp. = no sale

oh ok. You should've said that earlier. For me, if some says that they bought a car for $xx,xxx, I'm assuming that's with TT&L. Why wouldn't you add that to your price? It's not like it's a few dollars. It adds almost 10% to the cost of a purchase that's in the tens of thousands. Sorry to here that they are messing around.

BTW, $61,300 is not MSRP. 2011 w/ NAV and the cheaper preferred package is $65,680 MSRP. What they are offering is not insulting, but you can do a lot better. I think invoice or below is a good price for the 2011.

61300 for a 2011 IS-F is quite high actually. I got my 2012 IS-F about a week ago for 61000 (before TTL) here in SoCal. 2011 is almost done, why paying over 60K when you can get a 2012 for about the same price? Shop around, I'm sure there are deals to be had out there, especially for this time of the year.

Personally, I would get a 2012 instead. If you get a 2011, you'll take even a bigger hit on depreciation in about a month as 2012's right around the corner. Good Luck in your search.

Well if your planning to get the best deal for a new ISF, i suggest you take a look at Fleetrates.com and give them a call. I bought my 2011 IS250 through them and what they do is they will have an agent that specializes in your vehicle your trying to find and they will contact Lexus Dealerships from around your area, if not a little further to get you the best price. They have certain Dealerships they work with to get you the best price. I bought my IS250 in August because I needed it for school and i ended up getting 3-4G off the sticker price that my local dealership was offering me. Note this is prior to the 2012 being pushed on to the lot, so at that time it was a good deal. Im sure if you give them a call you can get a great deal for a 2011. After the agent locates the dealership you will then work with the agent at that dealership. I worked with the Manager down at Lexus of Pembroke Pines near Miami. I live in SC and at the time i purchased the car it was still on the boat coming from Japan because they had a shipment of cars coming over. They paid for transportation of your car straight to your door, which is very nice. All you do is pay a 1 time membership fee at Fleetrates for 35$. In my opinion i got a great deal. I am glad that I walked away. That 2011 has been sitting on their lot since August. It can sit there even longer and maybe they will try calling me after they lower the price. Otherwise I will keep my eye on the web to see what is out there. I find it funny that one dealership makes you feel like you are stealing from them for a certain price, and then another dealer will give you an awesome price and make you feel like a king for taking if off their hands.

Definitely shop around for the best deal, especially with the end of the year sales. Give them a call they will call dealerships for the best price for you. The website isn't up to date its just there for viewing pleasures. But once you give them a call a agent will contact dealerships to help you out. Good luck with your search! I wish i could get a ISF but with my budget I didn't want to buy a used vehicle, knowing that its a sports sedan people will push it to the limit.

Yeah, it was at SoCal. Was planning on giving wife the 2012 as it doesn't have the parking sensors, but wife prefer the MRM color, so I'm driving the 2012 and loving every single second of it.
