Is the bass over powering or nice and deep?
In tt061880's thread he SUMd up the two front woofer to one channel and the subwoofer on a channel by itself. Like that he was able to get the full bass spectrum

Hey Danny, thanks for bring up tt061880 thread regarding his set up I'll give it try as well and see how it go's. To answer your question it's deep and clean but there is room for improvement. The JL Audio RBC helps but it's not perfect you can only change frequency and can not control actual sub output level, also spent some time adjusting JL audio 500/1 amp sensitivity, output level,Q, boost, etc but overall I'm happy with setup. If this helps I'll rate the different music genres sound quality 1 thru 4 one being excellent, two good, three fair and four poor so here we go

ML DVD Movies - score (1) Movies now are incredible sound, separation is good and sub bass is explosive put on latest Transformer movie just awesome.

Hip Hop - score (1) I put on Lil Wayne's "John" and damn that sub rips

Reggae - score (1) just deep chest tumping bass make you feel like rolling up Philly

Rock- score (2) I tried everything form Metallica, Link Park, Slip Knot, to Limp Bizkit they all sounded pretty good had to adjust bass level up on HU a bit and adjust RBC to get it right.

Electronica - this ranged depending on sub genre so score varies from (1) to (3) here are some examples.

Vocal Trance (3) I think sealed box would be better for this music style tighter bass but not bad.
House (1) nice deep bass
Progressive (2)
Breakbeats (2)
Trance (3)
Drum and bass (1)
