If he wants excitement, he should let us tune the F.

I think if money was not an issue, it's a no brainer people would trade-up to the GS-F but at over $100k it's quite a jump from the price tag of an IS-F so realistically it's in a whole new category.

I'm waiting to see if this car would come with 5 seats or just 4 like the IS-F....

Would love to see it in person but regardless I applaud Lexus for finally offering a competitor to BMW/Mercedes/Audi which pretty much dominate this market.

As another said this party is pretty exclusive and Lexus will have to really bring their A-game to compete.

Not sure why some of you are mentioning the GTR but it's really a different class of car all together, totally apples and oranges!

and i really don't see how gsf, when one comes, will become class leading. i believe it can get together with the pack together with m5 and e63, but leading? i don't see that. how many years have the isf been out? it's not class leading (and i don't think the m3 or c63 as class leading either)

but in the end, like i said, i am always ready to be surprised. lexus brought the isf to the game, BIG thumbup
Sorry for posting twice but Romin, I'd like to know what you consider class leading?

My votes would be:

mid $60k sport sedan ~ Caddy CTS-V

$100k sport sedan ~ E63 AMG

PurduePete: We will see the SEMA GS-F tomorrow but if the production car looks like the SEMA shape, it would be VERY VERY HARD not to resist for sure...hehehe, will try to snap some pics for you guys

Lightbulb Lexus GS-F

Henry,

^^ Iit's either dead in the water or maybe at least 1 year away.....

For the record, I would keep MY IS-F untill it falls apart....

Rick,

You will be seeing a OEM GS350 F-Sport and a Project GS F-Sport by Five Axis (which also has an oem 350 motor)

Unfortunately, at the moment NONE of us will be seeing a Lexus GS-F, as stated in the Video.

too early to say about the 100k, but i have high hope on the f10 m5. the e63 is nice, it's stupidly fast, but when turning the car still feels a bit on the struggling side.

on the 60k range, imho it's a toss. everyone has their goods and bads

Yes, b/c the assumption is that the performance numbers should be more than the IS-F or else why build one to compete against the M5 and others. Love that styling!
