Yes! they have lexus isf in south korea...Funny last year when i checked they only had IS 250 price of IS 350 us . I'm also relocating to south korea end of this year or next year..I was planning to bring my isf to seoul korea but I've sold early this year..(GAS 3x than here $120 or more warrenty issue not covered in south korea most of all traffic in seoul city)
I don't regret selling my ISF but I sure missed!...I never buy used or pre owned but owned isf for 2years never encouter problem whatsoever! Maybe I;ll buy isf again and start all over since I still have lot of aftermarket parts..Btw Good to see Isf in korea!

Thank everybody for encouragement. I'll try to keep you updated how my USDM ISF survives and become domesticated in a foreign market.

I've never realized how bad the fuel economy is.. I've done 14 mpg around Philadelphia (or 26 mpg on highway while 2+ hour driving). I am commuting 10 miles round trip everyday and I am doing 8 mpg!! The thing (not really) is that the gas price here is $6.7 per gallon.
Other than that, driving in the city is fantastic. At 1AM on Saturdays, you can really stretch your legs without worries over the law enforcement.

Very cool story!

What kind of parking garage are you and your brother parked in? Looks like a high end parking garage with all those nice cars in the background lol!

It is the parking facility in the basement of the high-rise apartment complex where my brother lives. I haven't noticed that most of the cars in the pic were import cars.. The picture does not tell the whole story, though. Import cars only accounts for 8% in terms of the number of cars sold. On another note, German cars are particularly popualr here.. 63% of the total import cars sold are German (Audi, BMW, Maybach, M-B, Porsche, and VW) in the first quarter of 2011. Interestingly, Korean market is said to be the fourth (or fifth) biggest market for BMW 7 series worldwide.

I always see them driving BMWs in K-dramas. I guess that holds true in real life...I would love to go to Korea some day! On topic, glad your car made it safely across. There's nothing like your own car. A similar replacement model just isn't the same as the original.
