Great write up, definitely! Super interesting to hear about importing a car, much less an F.

im glad you chose to keep the F instead of getting a Hyundai or Kia!!

BTW, your F is not too black... your bro us just a little jealous of how good it looks!

Awesome story, thanks for sharing! Enjoy your car in Korea and hopefully parts are interchangeable.

Yes, I do have a sunroof, although sometimes I wish I didn't. Headroom is definately a precious commodity in the IS sedan.

You never know! I actually got a Kia Sorento for family duties - Not bad for a family hauler with 2.2 litre piezzo-injected turbo diesel. Impressive fuel economy!

Hope to see Clublexus members here. Any member will be treated with nice street food if you can hit me up.

We need to have a Seoul Lexus meetup sometime. Have you found a good mechanic to work on mods or checkups?

^^^
Definately not me
Obsidian is not available for ISF in Korea. It must be either F-ed IS250 or gray imported ISF.

BTW, what are you doing here?

Happy hunting! If you plan to visit Seoul and got some time to spare, we should go for a night snacks or something.

Sorry, I got you very late..
Although my car has never needed any service (other than scheduled maintenance which was performed at a local Lexus service center), I know a good mechanic. He has worked for i Code in Japan for some years before coming back to Korea. He mostly deals with Porsches (you know, i Code specialty is Porsches & Toyotas).. But if my car needs anything, I will definately see him.

I got to know him when my 1995 Audi RS2 needed a lot of work. He practically resurrected my RS2 from scraps..
