Just got home from New Jersey Motorsports Park and one of the guys was nice enough to take a clip on the straight. Its nice to get a sound clip like this from outside the car, I’m passing the guy videoing at about 120mph. I get compliments on the sound everyday and at the track words like: Monster, Ferocious & Insane are used a lot when describing the sound from the car by fellow racers. Darbs, did you notice a change in noise with and without the RT cats?
Yea, i have a little more cabin drone on the highway and at WOT is seems a little louder... i think im just going to leave as is, even if i do change to vbanded cats i wont beable to use nitrous on the street vs bikes and such so i think straight threw is the way to go.
Sounds very beastly but I'd be a little afraid of driving that fast on wet pavement.
You will learn a lot faster in the wet than the dry... when you drop 3 or 4 hundred bucks for 3 hours on the track you cant let a little rain scare you. I normally just run a gear higher to stay a little out of my tq power band and run slower... In the dry on the same track im hitting almost 140 an braking 200 feet later in that straight... Party time
