Custom diffuser idea
I recently upgraded to the IS-F rear bumper, and after lurking on the IS-F forums; I have decided that I want to add some kind of diffuser.
My first idea was to do the typical carbon vinyl with the s4play diffuser, but I had always been a fan of the stock AMG diffuser look. This is just a quick paint edit I came up.
I have already ordered some vcarbon to try it out, but I wanted to get a concensus if it looks good or not. I figured if it turns out ugly, I'll just stick the s4play diffuser on and call it a day.

I guess i didn't phase my question clearly, do you guys think I should vinyl wrap my bumper and leave a little strip at the bottom of it uncovered? That way it looks like the stock diffuser that comes on an AMG.
Previous IS-F owners have wrapped the entire bottom of the their bumper to create a diffuser look, I was planning on doing the same thing, except that I would leave a small strip of it uncovered.
Thank you for the mod that resize my picture haha

I never understood why someone would re-badge their car with that of a more expensive model. I see it all the time with 'vettes putting Z06 decals on their cars. Upgrading the bumper, fenders, wheels, etc to look like the more expensive model is fine if you just like the looks of it better, but when you re-badge the car you're trying to fool people into thinking you actually own one. What's wrong with just doing all the ISF cosmetic upgrades and leaving the IS350 decals on it?

that isn't his car in the pix as he's looking for ideas (and have two different state plates. neither of which are the OP's listed location of CA)...in any case, i'd go with a wald or tom's diffuser and leave the fake cf stuff to the rookrack kids

I assumed it was his car because he said "This is just a quick paint edit I came up", obviously referring to the second photo because the first is clearly of someone else's car who did the actual S4play diffuser with the carbon fiber vinyl. So I figured his car was the photo-shopped one in the second photo; I didn't take time to analyze the plates or look to and see if they matched the OP's listed location. My apologies.
That being said, I like the looks of the s4play diffuser far better than the second picture. Although I don't see a diffuser in the second pic at all, which the OP says is supposed to be like "the stock AMG diffuser look". I'm confused.

neither of the pictures I posted are of my car. They were pictures I found online. I already have the carbon vinyl on order and am hoping to try wrapping my bumper this weekend.
And I purposely left my "IS350" badge on so that no one will mistake my car for an ISF. I really love the look of quad exhaust, but unfortunately the only options at this time is either the WALD exhaust or the ISF bumper.
The WALD exhaust does not appeal to me because I much prefer the sounds of an Fsport exhaust; therefore I chose the IS-F bumper.

First, thanks for considering our diffuser!
Second, I think I may know what you are referring to ~ AMG cars have a more aggressive rear with the fins actually extending upwards of the bumper, aka Ferrari F430. Is this what you were referring to?
Or maybe I've mistaken the AMG Black Series diffuser since not all AMG cars have a diffuser that I can remember?
Either way, love to see your final outcome

Sorry, I should have posted a stock AMG diffuser so no one gets confused. AMG do not come with fins, they instead come with a little strip of silver on the bottom of their car. The fins are either added on or are only present on the black series edition. Here is a normal AMG diffuser
