Default 2008 Lexus IS-F with clearance issues

I recently purchased a 2008 IS-F with approx 37k miles and still under Manufac. warranty.....it has 20" GNOSIS wheels and tires are :

front: 245/30/ZR20
rear: 285/25/ZR20

I am having issues with clearance and needed advise on changing tires without changing the wheels.

Thanks
Rafi

Your not going to change much with the tires. What clearance is having issues?

Not sure why you are having issues. I have 255s/295s

That's interesting. I have 285/30's in the rear and I figured moving to your tire size in the rear would fix my issue. Be more specific, where are you having issues?

Did you buy the silver one from Texas Import Sales? If so, that was a forum members car and I do believe it was lowered. You are going to need to change out springs to raise it up. By putting larger tires you will just rub and not solve the issue.

Anyway congrats on the new ride!!

Hmm. yea sounds like it's bigmike's(sp?) car. Does it also have the Lexon front lip on it? Perhaps you are having ground clearance issues with the front and want to sell me the lip?

I'm guessing by clearance you mean there is rubbing... If you want to keep the setup as-is, then just go to a tuner shop and have them shave or roll the fenders a bit more. Otherwise, that's how it is... gotta pay to play, buddy.

Yep, sounds like Mike's car. Is this it?:

If this is it, and I'd bet it is, the OP has a lot of reading to do to learn the car's pedigree

I had the same problem leaving my driveway but not anymore since I go through from an angle now.

Sounds like a good deal for that car. I will buy the lip off of you...my car is silver as well and I am local. It should not be real expensive to get the springs switched, I am sure there is someone on the board that has some stock springs they would sell.

Let me know about the lip~
