Default HKS SSM exhaust installed

Hi peeps i am new to this forum and i need some suggestion please. I recently just purchase HKS exhaust rear section for my is-F, its sound awesome but i am still not satisfy cuz its missing a center pipe, now my dilemma is i have called HKS for a center pipe as advertise on their website but the problem is, they've told me HKS haven't made the center pipe yet, the reason for this is because HKS exhaust for the is-F is not common and not to many people have would spend the money for it. Does any one have any suggestion what brand i can use for my center pipe?

Buy headers and keep your midpipe for the secondary cats its such a better idea than a mid pipe. it will sound sick and you wont have drone, still pass inspection, way more power!

^^ I totally agree with what he said. Get the headers and the cats, use your stock midpipe. The power will be from the headers.

So a header would actually increase the sound with out replacing the stock mid straight pipe?

Icode or Zees are pricey options, but they should bolt up to your axle back.

"Pricey" is an understatement - $4,000 to $4,400 for a midpipe!?!?

Like the others have mentioned, go with headers and leave the midpipe.

Buy a used JoeZ and have a shop weld the hks rear section to it. I bet it would sound badass

If I buy aftermarket headers (which eliminates the primary cats) and bolt on the stock midpipe for the secondary cats. Would it affect the O2 sensor readings? Turning on the CEL light?

If you buy Sikky the simulator comes with the headers... you will not have a CEL either way but since you have the factory mid pipe you will pass inspection because of your cats. you will jump 30-40 wheel from the headers leaving your mid pipe. It will defiantly sound more BA

Holy crap 4k for a mid pipe, that's an outrageous price just for a mid section.
