Default Just got my IS-F today

Took me a year to find the right car. 08 Black with 19k miles. Just picked up few hours ago still trying to get use to the car. What are the common things that goes wrong with these car? I check the service history it has the rear brake replace and dash rattle fixed. What else should I look for. Going to take it into dealer soon

I drove 60 miles back to work everything seem to be fine just feel lack of power when taking off from a light.. like no low end torque..? beside that I notice the front wheels have small dots that I can't clean out yet..? That's about all I can think of. Own the car for about 5 hours now.. Here is a quick pic

congrats on the pick up. turning on the sport mode might take care of the off the line power issue, it is sluggish off the line without it.

Congrats on your car! There isn't much that can be wrong with it with only 19k on the clock. I doubt you'll need anything more than a routine oil change. Maybe tires in about 5-7,000 miles? But you're gonna love it! Any plans for mods?

Thanks.. I think the only issue I found is wheel pitting, I spend good 5 min try to clean the spots out but it looks like it is in the paint. And all 4 wheels has it. None of them have curb and they are all perfect except of the wheel pitting. I make a appointment at Longo Lexus hopefully they will take care of it.

Sometimes the lack of power from the standstill is because of traction control kicking in. At least for me, if I take traction control off and I just mash the gas, my tires go up in smoke.

Congrats on the new ride. There's a big thread on wheel pitting in this forum.

Always leave the car in "Sport" mode. Even wifey does that now.
