I have been reading reviews on a bunch of different tires the last couple weeks (Michelin PS2, SuperSport, Continental DW, Hankook, Toyo, etc.). The Super Sport seems like the best all around tire. Of course, that is only based on limited reviews being this is a new tire. I just ordered the Super Sports and went with the factory sizes (yes Lou, I know your runnin 285's in the rear :-). My ISF is lowered with spacers. Do not want to deal with any rubbing issues with these new tires.

Who told you this? It is not my experience at all with LOTS of other cars (most notably my Supra which has been through 6 sets of tires since I bought it).

How many miles are you at?

26K on the OEM Bridgestone's. I bought my IS-F used with 14k miles back in Feb, 2010. I really don't beat on it, so I'm guessing most of the wear was done by the previous owner. The rears are toast, no tread left. However, the fronts do have some tread....I'm just going to get the entire set to start from scratch. Looking forward to getting a PS2 quality or better tire to see how the car is supposed to ride :-)
Got a deal on the set. $1150 out the door.
