Default A pillar cover removal?

How do I remove the cover for the A pillar? At the top its attached with a short plastic tie so I can only get it partially off and at the bottom I have no clue how to detach it. I want to make sure the wiring I ran through there is clear of the airbag at the bottom it looks like it crosses over and I don't want it impeding it in case of an accident.

Where it crosses under the airbag.

The area I'm trying to get to.

This should just slide up and out from there now that you have the clip pins pulled loose from the a pillar.

But it's not fully detached it's hanging from a little black strip at the top. Do I just pull really hard to detach it? I don't want to break it.

my diagram is showing one plastic clip (white in your picture). the black plastic L shaped tang is meant to guide the A pillar cover upwards if the bag deploys. is should be slotted at to allow the pillar cover to go slide up towards the ceiling. Hope this helps.

Its like a "T", I snipped the tip off. It still goes back in flush and tight. You need a unique tool that I found isnt nessasary if you just want it off.

Im pretty sure they designed it like that in case of an accident when the airbags deploy the pillar doesnt go flying.

I connected my V1 to the rear of the mirror, and used an under mirror mount.

I have the under mirror mount also, I love it! I had it on my G35 and luckily the ISF has the same mirror. I just didn't want to mess with splicing wires and I couldn't find my torx bit's to get the mirror off so I just ran it down to the drivers side fuse box.
