I say pull out all your seats and all your interior lining that should help otherwise I don't think it will happen with a fully loaded F

Does anybody have any knowledge of any IS-Fs hitting the 10 second mark?

Please refrain from the "nitrous will make your engine explode" comments. MrSlay has ran his nitrous kit virtually trouble free for a while now so I'm not too concerned.
Sure...

I dont think that counts, since its a full chassis car with a Pat Musi TT Big Chief headed BBC. Plus they own the Blue IS F with the record.

650 hp ==> about 550whp with about 15% drivetrain loss. So we're in agreement here.

Very interesting topic , im in the same boat ,not in the quest to hit 10's ,but im about to spray and need some info. too!

My best here im PR wich is humid and very hot , w 400whp on a dyno jet did at the track 12.8sec@115
With iss forge qes, ppe headers and hps intake hose, drop in afe . My 60's where 1.9 !!! (The track sucked that day they said !). At that time i had stockers with hancook ventus as the rubber ,now I have a rear set of rpf-1 ,but im not sure wich tire to get just for the track , ive read caymandrive uses 245/40/18 mt drags but im not sure if that is true! I would love to know the exact model and number of the tire.

Im in the process of spraying the F and i am almost finished in the installation . I choosed to make a full kit of NOS that has a NEX maximizer4 controller , this allows me all sords of protections for the motor if they are set the right way it features , windows switches , wide band protection capability with the use of a wide band ,progressive activation and so on , all this patterns are programable by the user . This is why i have this questions for those of you sprayin;

At what rpm do you kick in the system (2000,2500,3000,3,500rpm), full shot or progresive ? If it is progresive what % launching and at what rpm at full engagement of 100%?

Also till what rpm should i run the shot( 6000rpm,5500rpm etc)?

Whats the perfect afr for the tune while spraying ?
What afr is dangerous for the car?
Thanks in advance i know is very technical but all help is greatly appreciated.

The 11.1 secs at 133mph record was with street tires. I think someone with the same set up as that guy plus drag radials would perhaps make it into the tens.

all that car had done to it was, intake, direct port with a big shot and a full exhaust(sikky/joe z).. most likely race gas to run monster shot like that. 120oct or north without the ability to retard timing.

Ideas on a good 17 that will clear the brakes? I would like to run 10.5 or 11 wide rears as well. I'm going to have to consider a lot of things, brake clearance, offsets, etc.
