Purchased September 17th, 2008 and today she has 80,494 miles. Only problems were blown rear deck sub woofer and had the sunroof motor replaced because it would occasionally not close.
I'm on my 2nd set of front rotors and 3rd set of front pads, 2nd set of rear brake pads and 1st OEM disc still (but it needs to be replaced in about 10000 miles).
She's on her 5th air cleaner, oil changes every 5000 miles.

Good luck and have fun on your trip. I managed to average 28 mpg and for a 30 min strip in California I hit 42 mpg. I took a picture when I reached it and took a picture a few minutes later when it was up to 42.3
After that I started hitting hills and traffic. My overall average from my roadtrip was 27.5 (few tanks in lower twenties and several tanks in upper twenties/30 mpg). I was so happy because I expected 230 mile tanks (3.5 hrs) when calculating the trip and was able to get 5.5 hrs with just under a quarter of tank when driving every time I filled

I used to watch my average mpg all the time...ever since i got rid of the mufflers and the resonator, all that has gone out the window....I average 16 mpg now through my tank.

That's a good idea....I wonder if psychologically it actually works? I'm going to test it.......we'll see. I usually have mine on GEAR SELECTION, but I'm always driving in manual mode, unless I'm in traffic...love the IS F for this reason!

I got this on the way home from the gas station last night.
This is what I typically see on longer trips.
I leave the display on tank average just because it does keep me from wasting a lot of gas. My Supra suffers from poor gas mileage whenever I drive it because I'm always looking for boost.
