I start in normal mode + auto shift and take it easy until the car warms up. Then it's sport mode + manual shift all the way.

Maybe 10% of the time. Mind you my cars my daily driver so I use it to drive everywhere, including work where I'm in mostly traffic.

+1, except I start in normal mode + manual to warm up. warms the engine and tranny up faster (uses more gas though). I also use normal + manual if i want to have smooth rolling shifts...almost never have it in full auto

10% of the time; mostly on freeway on-ramps and whenever I have a long safe stretch of road to get giddy on.

That sport mode button is like magic. Its addicting and can get you in a lot of trouble too.

Honestly after having my IS-F for 2.5 yrs now I use the sport button sparingly and particularly because of run ins with the pigs. About the bad gas mileage thing, I read in another thread that sport mode while cruising yielded better gas mileage than in normal mode. But I am assuming you guys use "sport" mode for another reason, not cruising LOL.

I'd like to say 25% of the time. It's usually spirited runs when I'm out with the guys. But if it's just me and my gf, she'd say pop it into snow mode But honestly, I don't see a large enough difference between normal and sport mode to say NOT to use it. Maybe it's because I'm not flooring it and watching the computer dwindle down to single-digit MPG, but I do tend to drive more conservative using sport mode. Quite odd....I know.

10% of the time or so which does not include paddle shifting.

Hardly ever use/need the paddle shifters although I perfectly know how to use it
