Default Would this enclosure fit the ISF?

I've been hunting for a custom sub enclosure for a while (FS thread), but can't find much there. I found this on ebay and I was wondering if our trunk layout is the same as the 2IS.

http://cgi.ebay.com/07-08-09-IS250-I...item5197e55f62

Also, isn't the gas tank on the same side of this sub? would that be really an issue in terms of weight distribution??

I heard that 4080enclosures.com make custom subs for our cars as well, but they don't have them posted on their website. I wonder if they're ISF specific as well.

Anyway, thanks for the help. I just need to know if the ebay one would fit or if there are any other options out there.

Hans

haha, yeah... the stock ML sub is just Weaksauce. I just found another vendor which looks promising as well!

lol, you wouldn't go racing with a sub in the trunk anyway. I wouldn't worry about weight distribution.

No. The fuel tank straddles the driveshaft and is not biased to one side or the other. Weight and balance are not even close to even with the car empty - it's quite a bit heavier on the US driver's side which only gets worse when you sit in the car - so if you're concerned about weight distribution, you'd want anything new on the other side of the car.

Thanks... I'm not extremely concerned about it, but being the engineer that I am, I figured I'd ask anyway

I might get the audio integrations one then since it sits on the opposite side and finish looks top notch!

Nice enclosures, but a 12" is too big for my taste. Wish they'd have something for an 10" or even an 8" subwoofer.

I had one of the Wicked enclosures in a previous car and it was pretty nice. I did not like the fact that you have to figure out a way to secure it (usually by drilling a screw into the floor).

I bought the equivalent of the 4080 enclosure from Nick at Boxoligy mysosinc@gmail.com a few weeks ago. Nick went out on his own and the enclosure is a work of art. It fits like a glove in the ISF and the tight fit, the cargo net latches and its own mounting tab makes for a great set up with no modifications to the car. I also was able to purchase an Image Dynamic IDQ12v3 from him cheaper than I could find it on ebay and he shipped them together saving even more.

I installed this set up with an Audio Control LC2i LOC along with a old school Linear Power amp I had. The sound is amazing and can be tuned to blend quite well with the stock ML system. I did remove my stock sub to allow the sound to vent in from the trunk. Best option in my opinion.

edit: scratch the size question.. I figured it out from your sub size.
