Thanks for the info on this thread. I am in the process of waiting for delivery of mine and was very close to spending on the tire warranty since i'm in the NY area (=terrible pot holes).
rhy - you may be able to get the dealer to knock down the price on the pkg if you're really interested. They quoted me around $500 if i pick that up before i pick up the car.

What a beautiful car.
I love the color and those wheels are gorgeous. You should be very pleased and it sounds like you got a decent deal. As mentioned by a few others above, skip the dealer extras that they try to sell you. Just buy the car.

Driver School Candidate
After reading this thread about the paint protection, I think its possible my 08 has that done to it. To back up a little bit, I just got my ISF and first time washing it, I noticed that the paint felt funny. I thought, it just needs a good wax. So even after 2 coats of wax the hood still doesnt feel like a slippery missile like my last car. I bet it has the Lexus paint shield on it. The paint looks great and its super shiny, just deosnt feel shinny.
