Default Laser diffusers/shifters installed on an IS-F?

It appears LIDAR is the new "hotness" in law enforcement making our V1's, Escorts, etc. ineffective to getting a real warning before its too late. Does anyone have any diffusers installed? Laser Interceptor, Blinder, K40, 9500ci?I'd like to see a picture of where they are mounted since the placement is critical to its effectiveness.

Search under Valentine 1, most people mount/hard wire them under the rear view mirror.

The diffusers I'm looking for are mounted externally. Front or both front & rear.

Some pics http://www.laser-interceptorusa.com/715.html

I don't see how they can be mounted on the F w/o cutting into the grill.

I had a Laser Interceptor on a 535i for two years... works great!

The laser heads are pretty small so they can go on any grill without being obtrusive. I'm sure an IS-F install would be no biggie. You can mount them using sticky tape, no need to cut.

I believe Cathafer has a laser system set up on her F. She didn't have to cut into the grill as far as I can remember. Id search her name for pics of her ride

Default Blinder

Mine are located in the lower grill. Small cutouts were used to install. They're nearly invisible from most angles.

It's the Blinder M27. Haven't yet been lasered with it, so can't speak to its effectiveness. It was already on the car when I bought it. From what I've read on them, they're supposed to work well if properly mounted.

Credible reviews here. I have not installed one of these systems on an F so no comments about where or how to put the heads on.

inventurou - That's where I mock mounted my M27's today. It looks like I may have to cut into the grill in order to get them more flush. Do you have a side view? I might get the rears done as well.

The new Laser Interceptor diffusers are about half the depth of the M27's for those that are considering installing a laser jammer system.

Default Blinder Mount

DHRP - Yes, they basically made small cutouts in the grill (smaller than the diffusers) through which they passed steel brackets which are then mounted to the underside of the panel behind the grill. I'll try to remember to take some closeup photos with a real camera soon, but for now I've included the relevant section from a camera phone pic that I had. You can somewhat see the brackets extending backwards behind the diffusers (the left one shows some rust)

The bottom grill is like $40 so I don't mind cutting into it.

CaThaFeR which setup do you have?
