too lazy to read but can you still get the extended warranty if you only have the powertrain left?

I am not sure if this has been mentioned because I didn't read all 13 pages but if you need the Lexus/Toyota warranty (and qualify for it) contact Jerry @ Midwest Toyota. I have purchased 3 extended warranty packages from him and its much less than at the dealer. You basically do everything over the phone, he mails you a receipt, then Lexus sends you a package. The warranty automatically has shown up on my dealership's computers. With my 3 cars it has been worth its weight in gold, so far have replaced a water pump, nav system, speakers, trunk struts, and some other stuff over the years. For Jerry's info just PM me or search the 2IS boards.

My CPO warranty is coming to an end and I plan to keep the car much longer. I am already at 108k and wondering if I can get an extended warranty as I am worried about the couple issues that seem to be popping up with the gauge needles and the navi screen in the 08s. I don't want to pay to replace those on my own if I can get a warranty. I have my warranty till 125k but wondering if I could even get one that is much higher than that.

I purchased an used 2013 Lexus GS 350 in September 2016 with 51000 miles at a Toyota dealer. While I was in the finance department purchasing the car, I got wrapped in the Vehicle Service Agreement Platinum. He said since its a used car the VSA is expensive $3950.00 for another 5yr/60k. After reviewing it I can cancel it and get about $3500 back. I emailed Jerry Johnson and he can only sell on a new car. My credit union has a Route 66 Mechanical Breakdown insurance for $1800 for another 6yr/100K. Does any one have an option on the Toyota VSA or Route 66 MBI? Should I just accept I overpaid for a decent warranty?
Thanks

There's another person on that warranty thread on the east coast that had same pricing for the Lexus Platinum warranty that Jerry Johnson sold. Just have to read pages back
