Question Mark Levinson

I was just wondering how many of you got the Mark Levinson package and whether it is really worth it. I have read some comments that the bass is quite anemic (as if there is no subwoofer). How does it compare to the standard audio system in the isf? Is it worth approx $1500 to upgrade?

Seem to have weak bass but I don't care about car audio that much.

ML wasn't really an option in the Western Region. 99.9% of the ISF's sold here brand new come with it. There's only once in a blue moon you will find an ISF with NAV and no ML or just an ISF with no nav and no ML, even no nav and ML!

it's not worth the extra $1500, but most cars come with it.

The bass is plenty good for me (I've grown out of the heavy-bass stage in my life). I haven't heard the non-ML system myself, so I have no baseline to compare to. The ML system sounds clear enough for my ears.

Its a great system. Plays all kinds of music well. I seem to like it over way more expensive systems I've has before and also over the usual Bose offerings ofothr similarlt priced cars.

I don't like it. It don't have rich bass. It is not worth it if you have the option. I have had 4 other Lexus cars before my F. None of them had ML. They all sounded better IMO.

I have it in my 350 and I like it. I do not like the heavy bump bump bump bass and I think the bass level is about perfect and I only have it a "tick" above the half way point on the settings. It really depends on what you want.

ML has been great for me! I love the bass. I recently drove a 2010rx350 that did not have the ML and it sounded horrible....

I expected more out of the system. Always coming from a previous cars; Acura's/Infiniti's Bose system, its not that much better, but it will do just fine.
I found that other than watching movies (never), to me the DSP sourround feature "off" is more listenable.

Bass is definitely pretty weak. I just jumped into a new 2011 from a 2008 and I noticed that the volume settings weren't the same. I used to listen to the radio at level 8-10 in my 2008, but now I have to crank it up to 15-16 just to get the same loudness. Am I having a Spinal Tap moment or have you guys noticed this too?

Im big into sound and have upgraded it in everycar i have owned untill the F. I think its crisp, clear and has all the bass your going to find in any high line audio system... unless you have 2 12"s in your trunk. Its worth it in my eyes
