Default BLACKED OUT / painted HEADLIGHTS..

I am looking to have my headlights painted and resealed and I was looking for ballpark figures on them ? Has anyone had them done and can give me a ball park to be looking into for having a shop do them ? and or recommend a shop to have them done ?

painted like tinted? or like completely useless? A shop generally wont do either as its a liability, unless you know someone in the biz.

I think he means popping them open and painting the internals black. This gets tricky as you are never promised a full 100 OEM seal back. You could end up with water/moisture inside the headlamps down the road.

No idea on costs, but I doubt a body shop will bake your head lights to pop them open.

CrazyMPG and s4play might be able to give you more info. PM them. I think the ball park is around $700-800, if I remember correctly.

I forgot about that thread. Can we get prices on that setup? With / without core charge. That's awesome.

No sir, I did this for another isf owner.

The process is not easy and there is a substantial risk doing it. I have yet to do it to my own isf.

That look actually looks pretty clean. What color is that painted on the inside? Matte/ or satin black? Wonder how it compares to how the 2011 (darker) headlights look. Of course MINUS the LED's inside.

S4, any pics of that car farther away?
