Check out the new shift ****
I never really liked the look of the stock ****; it looked too simple and didn't feel right in my hand.
I ordered up the Razo RA123 in black from Performance Nissan, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the look and feel now. The **** weighs in at 250g, so it is quite a bit heavier than the stock ****. However, it's not so heavy that it makes the shift action feel sloppy or loose.
The RA123 is designed to be a pistol grip ****, which is perfect for me. The circumference at the top is a bit smaller than the stock ****, but I don't mind it since it's set up better for a pistol grip. Also, the plastic silver trim on the RA123 is a very close match to the silver trim on the center console.
I did, however, have to cut a 1/4" off the threaded shaft to make the **** sit lower. Unmodified, the RA123 sat at the same height as the stock ****. This visually made the **** look tall and skinny.
I absolutely love the look now. It definitely reminds me of the Nissan GTR's shift ****; low, stocky, and stubby.

Looks good.
I checked eBay and I see they come in black, red and blue leather. There are many styles available if you search using "Razo shift".
I sort by lowest price plus shipping.
