Have to go home and check my brakes tonight. Don't know if I can make it another month waiting on the rears. My rear pads are pretty toast, constantly squealing, and I would really prefer to seat the new pads and rotors at same time rather than seat the new pads to old rotors and then new rotors a month later.

That's actually ideal according to all the brake engineers. New pads and new rotors is the worst possible combination.

Just got my front rotors on and love them! I have one question. Is there any oversized pad options for the front from another application that will fit our brembo 6 pot upfront? I am thinking 3mm wider would take up all of the surface area on the braking surface.

I weighed them compared to my stock rotors and these are a little over 8 lbs. less for the front each side.

There is no larger pad solution at this time however I might investigate a custom pad with Carbotech in the future. We should be getting the XP8 pads shortly to test and since they make all they own pads its possible we could do this if we design the backing plate.

pic of rotors post bed in. Using these with the Carbotech XP8 pads and its truly amazing. You run out of tire pretty quick so it will be interesting to see what happens with the r-comps at the track. Also the XP8 pads are slightly undersized relative to the backing plate, so they fit these undersized rings perfect. I need to talk to them about the compound to back plate ratio and see what can be done.

The rings on my vehicle are still the 5mm smaller sized rings. All shipping rings are the stock sized rings.
