Just installed KW Variant 3
I just picked up my car with the new suspension and must say is night and day.
got my suspension cornered balanced, aligned and new set of pilot sport ps 2.
Overall the suspension looks sick will have to wait for it to settle down cuz I got some noise on my driver side which could be the helper spring everything was double checked and in order but still got some noise on uneven roads.
Will be selling my Tein H springs.

Suspension doesn't settle in. If it was correctly installed, there's no need to wait for anything. Toe does need to be reset to prevent excessive inside edge wear, but there is nothing else adjustable, so if there are other issues, you won't be able to do much.

soon enough you will have full alignment capabilities, at least in the rear.
Also looks like KW cracked down on distribution with a MAP price. So everything is going up about 10%. Looking at hosting a GB here for DEC on these.

I am curious to hear more about the noise you are referring to. It is my understanding that the KWs use some parts from the stock suspension. Could it be coming from the installation of those parts?
Here are the links to the store he bought it from:
http://www.worksconcepts.com/kw_susp.../i-306413.aspx
Their e-bay listing has it at $2,395 as a "make an offer" listing.

So you recommend I do an alignment when the coilovers are installed (and not put kms on it first)?

I've done this quite a bit. If the bushings are reset to neutral, there is no "settling". The springs might sag, and if they do, they're crap springs, but suspension doesn't "settle" IME.
If you pull the OEM shocks and just stuff the new stuff in place without setting the bushings to neutral at static ride height, then you'll see what people like to call settling. It's actually the bushings breaking down because they're constantly stressed. The rubber finally gives up the ghost after awhile and this is what people call settling.
If I had a manufacturer telling me to expect the additional drop KW describes in their documentation, I would throw their springs in the trash without ever installing them and buy something good like Hypercoil or Swift. They are well known for not sagging even under racing conditions.

If you're replacing your spring insulator, or your new coilovers come with one, then there will be some 'settling' because rubber will compress; however, we're talking about such a small difference that it's negligible.
In short when it comes to springs:
settling = sag = crap

Anyone come up with a solution to accessing the upper rear adjusters on the KWv3s once the interior is reinstalled? Any extenders that we can poke through the trunk lining?
