Default Creaking driver's seat

Does anyone elses driver seat creak? Mine has started creaking for the second time. Last time they removed the seat, tightened the rails and put it back. Here I am a year later and the seat is creaking again. I found the same problem in a IS350 I test drove (pre-owned) when i was shopping.

Is there a permanent fix? I don't want to be another year down the road and have it do it again when I am out of warranty.

Thanks!
Andy

i have quite a few creaks and they all seem to be progressing
my main annoyance comes from under the passenger seat
most are probably my fault tho for installing sills and nav override
ive been thinking of asking them to look into it at next service
im not sure what or if they can do anything tho

Yea my driver seat creaks as well, as if my seat is telling me I'm too fat even though I only weigh 125lbs.

Also around the glove compartment there's a rattling noise.

So annoying, but I've learned to deal with it

Tighten your seats guys. The 14 wrench in the trunk will do the job. Over time, vibrations will cause the seats to get loose. Quick DIY fix

My driver seat started creaking a few weeks ago. Time to tighten it up this weekend.

My driver seat had a slight squeak too and all it took was a little tightening. I love easy to fix and find squeaks!

I guess I will check my passenger side bolts later.....

Did you have to tighten all 4 or did you find a problem on a specific bolt?

I had this in my 250 and 350. I'm glad its just a matter of tightening the seat!

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one having this problem. I'm having a creak from the lower left side where my thigh is. I thought maybe I was a little too heavy for the intended weight capacity of the seat (whatever that may be). Anyhow I will tighten the bolts and see if the problems subsides.

The bolts we are all talking about are the rails on the floor?

Thanks

I just did all 4. They all seemed to have a tiny bit of slack in them and if I can remember correctly I think the front left bolt was the problem child.
