They are now indeed called Lexus Service Bulletins... and not TSIB's.
Look at the code: L-SB-0044-10

Rats.. I am not sure it was front or rear, but my brake'd been super noisy. It is not making any noise now. I hope it stays that way...

Thanks dj. I printed out the LSB and handed it to dealer and now I have new rear brakes and most importantly, no more annoying squeak. I had 18K miles by the way when I took the F in. Thanks again for the info.

23K miles here and rear squeak developed. I'll be heading to the the dealer for the hook up. Thanks for the heads up.

Now they only started rolling out the service campaign on the valve springs so I could get them to do something about the knocking sounds coming from my engine...

Speaking of developing......In my case, it was the same. I don't think I had the annoying squeak when DJ fist posted this thread. I only took my car in after 2 weeks of it starting, that is, the start of the squeak/squeal.

My service guy told me if I do the switch, the new brakes may not perform the same as the originals. And he couldn't tell me if it was better or worse.

Anyone hear this?
Or anyone that had this done notice a difference?

^^ Yes, thats a good one.... Your "Rear Brake Performance" will decrease... LoL

I kid.. I kid..

If they have the noise, you can get the LSB done. You will not notice any performance difference.

^^ Yeah, that is a good one. My brakes still bite just as hard as before, just no more squeal/sqeak noise.

I have been noticing squeaking noise as well but wasn't sure if it was coming from front or rear. I guess this makes it clear now.

having 11k on the car i was surprised to hear squeaking noise.

Great news! Anyone know how much longer than the front the rear pads traditionally last

hmmm...now I have a dilemma. My brakes squeak off and on. They do it for a while, then stop, then start again maybe a week later...appears to be random. I live at least 30 minutes from the dealership, so I will have to call them ahead of time to verify if they will replace the pads, even if they aren't squeaking when I bring it to the dealership.
