I can not recommend this tire any longer At about 6K miles they started to develop an annoying sing. I now have about 9K miles on them. There's still plenty of tread left, and they still stick like glue (handling is still very impressive). When it's time, I will probably go with the Bridgestone SO4 Pole Position in the same 245/35/19 - 285/30/19 sizes. BTW, it appears that Tire Rack has the Continentals back in stock.
The sing happens between 40 and 60 MPH, and as I said it is very annoying

How can you possible hear tire sing over exhaust note...!!?? (nevermind )
I have logged over 20K miles on mine, they still work and sound just fine...

The below review is pretty much what I'm experiencing currently....

been running my 19" Conti DW's for approximately 15k miles and I'm more in love with these tires everyday. The wear is unnoticeable and the wear indicators look like they havent been touched. I'm currently lowered on coilovers to a finger gap and honestly expected massive wear as I havent adjusted camber in the back (except what was available in alignment).
Dry grip is excellent and wet grip probably provides too much confidence.
I usually rip an s-curve turn right before I get to work everyday and these tires just wont let go of the pavement. Tracking is excellent with a very mild amount of understeer which is expected from the IS350, though.
Road noise is absent and the comfort level is superb.
excellent daily driver tires, for owners that enjoy a spirited and refined driving experience
I couldnt give a better review!!

im going to pull the trigger on the bridgestone potenza s-04 pole position tires. 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 backs. Going to jump on that $100 rebate from discounttires promotion.

Just to let you folks know, the Continental DW sing was driving me nuts. I went to Discount Tire this morning and ordered a set of Bridgestone SO4 Pole Positions in the same 245/35 - 285/30 sizes. Was treated very well. They are doing the exchange for less than $200.00. Very fair I would say. I will start a new thread when they are installed.

These are the tires I'm thinking about. Do you have any idea if you can fit 255/35 on the front? I have a 2012 so my wheels are 1/2" wider than earlier models, but I'm not sure if there will be other clearance issues. I'm trying to keep the width ratios close to stock.
A high pitched noise coming from the tread area. As I previously said, it happens between 40 and 60MPH. Below 40 is fine and above 60 is fine.
