I agree with your post. I would have never thought about using a $15 molding and some vinyl to give that effect on the car.
I bet it would make things pop even on a car that isnt a dark metallic gray. I wouldnt mind doing this to my USB if I decide to hold off on the rear diffuser for a while to focus on some performance mods, would still like a rear diffuser in the end though

I was only joking
But I did use the moldings which are plain black for something else....no way will I use it on my the doors. I just need to finish cutting some vinyl. The good thing about this mod is that it is not permanent.
The bulbs are for the back...looks cleaner now
